TTWREIS: A Welfare Organisation

TTWREIS: Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Society is a registered society for the quality education of tribal students. This society is running 160 institutions from class 1 to PG as a part of its flagship KG to PG mission. Total count of Mini Gurukulams are 29. Of the 160 institutions, 84 schools—55 regular schools and 29 mini-gurukulams—as well as 76 degree colleges—22 degree colleges and 54 residential schools—as well as 23 EMRS—have been approved by the Telangana government following the creation of the independent state.

Telangana’s Tribal Welfare Gurukulams, schools reserved for tribal children, have devised a strategy to ensure the academic success of each and every one of their pupils. They aim for a flawless 100% pass record and want every student to complete their SSC examinations with flying colors. The goal is to achieve a pass rate of 90 percent for undergraduate exams and 95 percent for intermediate tests. This indicates that they are putting a lot of effort into ensuring that nearly every student in these levels does admirably on their tests.

Around 250 employees, including principals, TTWR Gurukulam officers, and regional coordinating officers (RCOs), convened at Komurambheem Adivasi Bhavan on Tuesday for a meeting of the TTWREIS. During this conference, the Gurukulam Principals received explicit orders to devise comprehensive plans of action aimed at achieving greater success in the forthcoming public examinations. They were advised to set high goals and put in a lot of effort to reach them.

The TTWR Society is committed to raising all of its test scores in the forthcoming TSBIE and SSC Public Examinations this year. Principals, staff members, and supervisory officers of the Gurukulams are among the field workers who have been given specific assignments by Dr. Sharath, Secretary to the Government, Department of Tribal Welfare, Government of Telangana. He urged them to collaborate as a group in order to promote and enhance the welfare of ST kids.

Subsequently, Dr. E. Naveen Nicolus emphasised that the Gurukulam has been working towards these objectives. They have been setting up extra study sessions, holding frequent exams, feeding students well-balanced meals while they prepare for exams, and supplying top-notch study guides. He underlined that these initiatives are steps in the direction of their goals. Dr. Nicolus promised to put in much more effort going forward to make sure ST kids succeed.

Eligibility: TTWREIS

Those who regularly attend ICSE/CBSE schools in the tenth grade or who are taking the SSC Public Examination in March 2023 are eligible to apply. The only students who can get into COE Junior Colleges’ Intermediate program are those who regularly attend CBSE/ICSE schools and pass the SSC in March 2023 during the academic year 2022–2023. It is noteworthy that admission to COEs is not available to supplemental students.

The annual income of the parents of urban kids should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000. Additionally, the annual income cap for students from rural areas is Rs. 1,50,000. You must present an income certificate at the time of admission, certified by the Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO), attesting to this level of income.

Students who have completed their coursework in Telugu or English are qualified to sit for the entrance exam.

As of August 31, 2023, pupils’ ages should not surpass 17 years old.

APTWREI Society

The APTWREI Society was founded with G.O.ms.No:51, SW (TW.Edn.I) Dept., dt:03-06-1998, with the goal of providing Tribal Students in A.P. State with a high-quality education. This society was split from APREI Society, which was originally registered with 65 institutions under the Societies Act of A.P. (Telangana Area) Public Societies Registration Act 1350 F (Act I of 1350F). The Society began operations as an independent organization on January 6, 1999, and continued until 2000. TTWREI Society was split out from APTWREI Society with 134 Tribal Welfare Residential Institutions in accordance with the Reorganization Act of 2014.

With ninety-one residential schools, twenty-seven residential junior colleges, twenty-two degree colleges (a total of 140 institutions), and twenty-nine mini-Gurukulams for tribal girls in addition to the residential institutions, the TTWREI Society (Gurukulam) is currently in operation.
Under the direction of a Senior All India Service Officer, the organization maintains the aforementioned institutions by periodically checking the administrative and academic operations with the help of supporting staff based in Headquarter.

Administration

Both teaching and non-teaching personnel in the institutions are looked after by the administration. Counseling-based transfers would be finished in accordance with the government’s plan, which is in May or June each year. Every year, by the end of June or early July, all open positions are filled through recruitment, promotions, or guest faculty. Other service-related issues concerning the staff of TTWRS/TTWRJCs are handled in accordance with the current policies and procedures.

Grievances

Every Monday and all other working days, the Secretary, Additional Secretary for Redressel, will accept petitions, submissions, etc., during office hours and notify the parties involved of the action taken within a week.
